MAPI Smart Cities: End‑to‑End Artificial Intelligence for Urban Management
MAPI Vision Suite was born from the real need to modernise public administration. Created by Marcelo Bezerra, a civil engineer with more than 15 years of experience (seven of them within public administration), MAPI is a hybrid ecosystem (Human + AI) designed to revolutionise urban enforcement.

What do we do?
We have developed a solution that applies artificial intelligence end‑to‑end, connecting the aerial domain with the street:

  • Spatial Detection: We analyse satellite and geographic data to dynamically generate “alert polygons” indicating potential infringements (e.g., land alterations, occupation of public spaces).
  • On‑Site Validation: An inspector visits the polygon and, using our Computer Vision integration on their mobile device, audits the scene in real time.
  • Legal Automation: The AI analyses the image (unauthorised construction works, irregular terraces, etc.), cross‑checks it with the land registry, and instantly generates an inspection report.

For the COMHIS 2026 congress, we are presenting a model specifically adapted to the reality and challenges of Salamanca.

What we are looking for
As we are in the midst of validating and expanding our technical architecture, we aim to connect with municipal leaders, innovation specialists, and potential strategic partners or investors who share our vision: transforming reactive cities into proactive Smart Cities. If you are interested in the intersection of GIS, AI and public management, I’d be delighted to speak with you.
